Troubleshooting ToneSpan

Start with local network diagnostics before contacting support.

No HomePod found

Check that the PC and HomePod are on the same network, guest Wi‑Fi is off, and VPN is not blocking local discovery.

HomePod found but no sound

Run the test sound first. If it fails, export logs and check firewall rules. If test sound works but system audio does not, confirm Windows has an active default output device.

Audio delay

ToneSpan is best for stable music, podcasts, browser audio, and everyday system sound. For competitive gaming or live monitoring, use a wired or local low-latency output.

Export logs

Logs include discovery, network checks, device capabilities, and stream state. They never include audio content.
